Rare is the middle of the five guard rarity tiers in 2 Player Raid Tycoon (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary). The in-game GET A GUARD panel gives Rare 3 slots totaling 20%. Which guards fill those slots is not confirmed: the panel shows portraits without names, and no clip so far shows a Rare RECRUITED card.

The “Suggested job” column is planning advice built on the official raid loop (shoot out power, crack the vault, run the cash home). It does not come from tested numbers.

Step by step for new factories

  1. Claim a side of a factory and start production (official how-to-play).
  2. Buy cheap production pads first. Early pads seen in clips cost $6K to $25K.
  3. Open GUARDS from the top bar to reach the GET A GUARD roll. Any single roll has a 20% chance to land in the Rare tier.
  4. Watch the middle button. It switches from BASE to IN COMBAT during fights, and the clips show a number in brackets, for example “IN COMBAT (2)”. What that number counts is still unknown.
  5. Save for the $100K Guard Tower once production is up.

Still unknown

  • Which guards fill the three Rare slots.
  • Rare guard HP, armor, damage and rate.
  • Roll price and currency.
  • Whether Rare guards can be upgraded or merged.
  • What the Guard Tower adds.
  • What the number in “IN COMBAT (n)” counts.
