Epic is the fourth of five guard rarity tiers in 2 Player Raid Tycoon (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary). The in-game GET A GUARD panel gives Epic 2 slots with a 4% tier total chance. One Epic guard is confirmed by name: Sentinel.

Sentinel (Epic)

A TikTok clip from 27 September 2026 shows a roll ending on a purple RECRUITED! / ADDED TO MY GUARDS card for Sentinel (“Ever vigilant”), tagged EPIC. A couple of seconds later the MY GUARDS screen lists Sentinel as Epic, 1 owned.

The card shows the rate as a bare number. Whether 480 means shots per minute, milliseconds between shots, or something else is not confirmed.

Using Epic guards: step by step

  1. Open the yellow GUARDS button in the top bar to reach the roll.
  2. Roll on the GET A GUARD panel. Any single roll has a 4% chance to land in the Epic tier.
  3. An Epic result shows a purple RECRUITED card and is added to MY GUARDS.
  4. Save for the Guard Tower pad. At $100K it costs four times the $25K Hydraulic Press.
  5. Watch the middle top-bar button: it reads BASE when quiet and IN COMBAT during fights (other clips show “IN COMBAT (2)”).

Still unknown

  • The name of the second Epic guard.
  • What unit the Sentinel rate of 480 uses.
  • Roll price and currency.
  • Whether the Guard Tower pad adds guard slots or is a defense on its own.
  • Whether Epic results are announced in server chat.
